These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Attic website at atticvfx.com (the "Site") and your purchase and use of our digital products. The Site and its products are operated by Attic VFX — referred to as "Attic", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms.
By using the Site or buying a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or make a purchase.
Attic is an independent studio that makes production-ready VFX scene files. At present, our products are Houdini project files — complete scenes including solver setups, shading, lighting, and render settings, intended for commercial and personal visual work (the "Products"). Each Product is delivered digitally as a downloadable file.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record (reseller) for every purchase made through the Site. This means that when you buy a Product, you are purchasing it from Lemon Squeezy, and Lemon Squeezy licenses the Product to you on our behalf. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, billing, applicable taxes, invoicing, and order receipts.
Checkout is operated by Lemon Squeezy. After you choose a Product on our Site, your purchase is completed on Lemon Squeezy's hosted checkout, where you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy. Prices are shown at checkout in your applicable currency and include any taxes Lemon Squeezy is required to collect.
Products are digital and delivered immediately after your payment is confirmed, via a download link and/or email. You are responsible for downloading and storing your files, and we recommend keeping your own backup of anything you purchase.
When you buy a Product, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, non-transferable license to use that Product subject to these Terms.

The finished creative work you produce is yours. The underlying Product file remains licensed to you, not sold or assigned — Attic retains all ownership of it.
All Products, together with the Site, its text, design, and branding, are owned by Attic or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the license in Section 4, no rights are transferred to you.
Because Products are digital and delivered immediately, refunds are limited. Our Refund Policy explains when refunds are and aren't available and how to request one. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.
You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to files or systems, circumvent any download or access controls, or use automated means to scrape or bulk-download content.
The Site and Products are provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to make our scenes clean and render-ready, we don't warrant that a Product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for your specific pipeline, hardware, or software version. You are responsible for confirming compatibility (for example, your Houdini and renderer versions) before purchase, where that information is provided.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attic will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Site or any Product. Our total liability for any claim relating to a Product is limited to the amount you paid for that Product. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
The Site relies on third-party services (including Lemon Squeezy for payments and our hosting and email providers). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of those services, which are governed by their own terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on the Site with an updated date. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
